Washington County substitute teacher charged with sexual battery

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – A Washington County substitute teacher is facing sexual battery charges after deputies say she had sexual contact with two minors.

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office,Paradice O’Connor, 32, of Vernon, has substituted for the district since 2016.

Deputies say they got a call Wednesday about alleged inappropriate behavior between school personnel and a student. Thursday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested O’Connor on nine counts of sexual battery.
